Gartner Digital Marketing Conference: New Perspectives on Content Operations
Marketing is evolving rapidly. From the growing number of channels and customer touchpoints to an ever-expanding martech landscape – the pressure on brands to produce content at scale without sacrificing quality or efficiency is mounting. While the methods for delivering content to customers have become more varied and dynamic, the process for collaborating on, planning, and producing content have remained largely static. It’s time to think differently about content – not merely how we distribute it but also the operations and process that produce it. At Gartner Digital Marketing Conference in San Diego this week, our CEO Randy Wootton is leading two insightful sessions that will help marketing teams rethink their approach to content.
First, Randy will lead a discussion of the evolution of the term “content marketing,” which, for many brands, is still associated with a narrow set of tactics like blogging or social media. His talk, titled, “Beyond the Blog: Core Requirements for an Enterprise Content Marketing Platform,” will show examples of how innovative brands are thinking holistically about content as the fundamental unit of all marketing and using CMPs to achieve global scale across teams, channels, and campaigns. He’ll answer questions around where CMPs fit in the enterprise marketing tech stack and how operational rigor can improve efficiency and relevance. Taking place on Tuesday, May 15 from 12:55 pm to 1:15 pm, this session explores novel approaches to achieving the quality and scale that all brands need to remain competitive in today’s hyper-personalized marketing landscape.
Randy’s second session, “Content Marketing 2.0–Solving Marketing’s Biggest Bottleneck,” will propose a new theory about what is preventing brands from capitalizing on personalized customer experiences. Informed by recent research from Gartner, The Content Bottleneck combines marketing best practices with supply chain theory and management frameworks to shed light on how marketing leaders can drive greater business impact across their organizations. Join Randy on Thursday, May 17 from 8:30 am to 9 am to learn how to orchestrate a better experience for your customers, while clearing bottlenecks in your processes.
And, don’t forget to visit us at Booth #212, where our product experts will be providing 1:1 consultations about how our analyst-leading Content Marketing Platform can help you and your company overcome today’s leading content challenges and drive impact on brand, on time, and at scale.
